geometry dash is one of the largest influences on my life as a whole. it's what my youtube channel is based around and has been a community i've been a part of since i was, what, 11 or 12? from its community and related communities, i've gained and lost friends, had my gay awakening, and it was how i got to my current as of typing community, music
my biggest interest is and has always been layouts, which are harder to define than you'd think, but are broadly levels which have not been decorated. at this point, with the hundreds of hours i've poured into making layouts in game and the many more being influenced by decorated levels and layouts alike, i've kinda lost distinction between layouts and levels, the way i seem to make them seems to be analogous to creators creating levels, but playing parts over and over again for refined gameplay instead of sitting in the editor making refined visuals. i am as intense about it as creators are their levels. so they're pretty much just levels with my specific (minimalist) decoration style
